Targum sobre I Crónicas 1:19
וּלְעֵ֥בֶר יֻלַּ֖ד שְׁנֵ֣י בָנִ֑ים שֵׁ֣ם הָאֶחָ֞ד פֶּ֗לֶג כִּ֤י בְיָמָיו֙ נִפְלְגָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ וְשֵׁ֥ם אָחִ֖יו יָקְטָֽן׃
Y á Heber nacieron dos hijos: el nombre del uno fué Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fué dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fué Joctán.
Targum of I Chronicles
And Ever had two sons. The name of one was Peleg, because in his days the inhabitants of the world were split [itpligu] to their languages, and the name of the other was Yoqtan since in his day the years of humanity began to diminish [itqta'a] from on account of their sins.
